Michael Jackson doctor Conrad Murray’s trail postponed

London: The trial for late King of Pop Michael Jackson’s doctor, Conrad Murray, has been postponed.

Murray, who had been accused of causing the drug overdose death of the singer in June 2009, will now go on trial in September after his lawyers asked for a delay to prepare for new prosecution witnesses, the BBC reported. The doctor has pleaded not guilty to a charge of involuntary manslaughter, though prosecutors claim he gave the singer a lethal dose of a powerful anaesthetic and then failed to provide proper care. Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Michael Pastor said he would dismiss the prospective jurors. ANI
