Glittering `Paa` premiere attended by Bollywood glitterati

The entire Bachchan clan was there as well as top Bollywood heroes and industrialist Anil Ambani. And why not, it was after all the premiere of the most awaited film, `Paa`, produced by the AB Corp and distributed by Ambani`s Big Pictures. Shah Rukh Khan was there with wife Gauri and kids, and Aamir Khan came too, but did not stay for long. Akshay and Twinkle were among some of the other top profile guests.

Mumbai: The entire Bachchan clan was there as well as top Bollywood heroes and industrialist Anil Ambani. And why not, it was after all the premiere of the most awaited film, `Paa`, produced by the Bachchan`s AB Corp and distributed by Ambani`s Big Pictures.
Bollywood`s Badshah Shah Rukh Khan was there with wife Gauri and kids, and Aamir Khan came too, but did not stay for long. Aamir hugged Amitabh Bachchan, gave him his congratulations and then left after a short while, saying he had to go somewhere else. "As Mr Bachchan had invited me, so I came to attend the premiere," Aamir told reporters at the Imax theatre at Wadala Thursday evening. Akshay Kumar came with wife Twinkle, Hema Malini was there along with her daughters, `Paa` actress Vidya Balan was there, so was Karan Johar, Ranbir Kapoor, Imran Khan, Juhi Chawla, Kajol and Ajay Devgn. Govinda was there and the "3 Idiots" team, including Madhavan, as well as Jeetendra. Anil Ambani and his wife Tina were also there. Abhishek, who was sporting black-rimmed spectacles like his dad, when asked why he was wearing such glasses, quipped: "I`m my father`s son." Filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra was hovering near the Bachchan family. Samajwadi Party general secretary and Bachchan family friend Amar Singh was also present. In the film, Amitabh Bachchan, 67, plays a 13-year-old boy suffering from progeria, a rare condition that causes premature ageing among children. The film is directed by R Balakrishnan. Abhishek plays Amitabh`s father in the film, while Vidya Balan essays the role of his mother. IANS
