London: Michael Jackson reportedly displayed “signs of cracking up” over his 50-show comeback run in London just 13 days before he passed away.A psychiatrist, who saw the King of Pop twice, reported Jackson looked to be on the verge of a breakdown with a disturbingly erratic behaviour.
A source close to inquiries into Jackson`s death said the singer was "clearly not mentally or physically equipped to cope" with his concerts at the O2 Arena, reports The Sun. But they added: "Michael was always adamant the show must go on - to the point where he was obsessed with the idea he would be ``killed`` if he couldn`t go on stage. He had been backed into a corner and was falling apart under the strain." The source also said: "While Michael had been candid and open at their first meeting, he was showing clear signs of cracking up when he saw him again. “They discussed if it would be possible to cancel or postpone the gigs."
