I am open to multi-starrers, says Pravesh Rana

New Delhi: Model-turned-actor Pravesh Rana, who shared screen space with Irrfan Khan and Jimmy Shergill in his debut film `Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster Returns`, wants to be part of more such multi-starrers.
The 29-year-old actor may have made his Bollywood debut with the the Tigmanshu Dhulia film, but Rana is not new to the audiences as he has been continuously seen on TV in several shows like `Big Boss 3` and `Emotional Atyachar`. "I have no inhibitions about doing multi-starrers. I would do anything that would leave an impact on the audience. If the role is good, the presence of other actors hardly matters. But yes, doing solo films is also on the agenda," Rana told reporters. Post the release of the film, Rana has received rave reviews for portraying the police man brother to the gangster (Irrfan). His presence contributed immensely in the development of the story. "It feels great to be appreciated. It was my first film and was a make or break situation. People have previously seen me in TV shows as a host or participant but this is the very first time that they got to see my acting. My role was close to that of Dharamji (Dharmendra) and Vinod Khanna. My character Param was on his own journey. His motto was revenge and he was in a way controlled by his elder brother. But still the character had many shades," Rana said. When asked if there are any project in the pipeline, he said, "Right now it is too early to talk about anything. I am just reading scripts. There is no project that I can can go gaga about. But I am hopeful to get something as interesting as `Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster Returns` in future." PTI
