Mumbai: Pratik Babbar, son of actress Smita Patil who made a mark with an endearing performance in his debut film `Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na` has acquired a new chiselled look.
Pratik credits his toned body to his gruelling but innovative fitness regime which included taking up Kalaripayattu, Yoga and dance on a regular basis. Sources close to the young actor who will been seen in Aamir Khan produced `Dhobi Ghat` say, "Pratik is very fitness oriented and apart from the normal routines in the gym has also taken up to a different style of yoga which combines yoga with a unique Dravidian form of martial arts called Kalaripayattu that works on your physical, mental and spiritual development." Pratik has also trained in Salsa with dance expert Sandip Soparrkar, and hopes to continue learning other South American dance forms. On his fitness regime, Pratik says, "Eat healthy, exercise regularly and every now and then and do not forget to binge on your favourite foods to keep the cravings satisfied too." The actor will soon be seen in some challenging roles starting with `Dhobhi Ghat`, as `Pinto` in Sanjay Leela Bhansali Productions` `My Friend Pinto` and Rohan Sippy`s `Dum Maro Dum`. PTI
