Jay Baruchel confirms his engagement with girlfriend Alison Pill

Los Angeles: Actor Jay Baruchel has confirmed he is engaged to his girlfriend, actress Alison Pill.

According to the Toronto Star, "The Sorcerer`s Apprentice" actor proposed to Alison over the holidays in Montreal. "I bought her a 180-year-old Victorian wedding band and I was going to give it as a nice kind of gift for Christmas," said Baruchel. "I decided in that moment I might was well call a spade a space and I`m pretty sure my words were `f*** it; do you want to marry me?` to which she said, `yes, of course`," he added. The couple, who have been dating when they were filming his upcoming hockey movie "Goon", plan to marry in September 2012, reports aceshowbiz.com. IANS
