London: The executive team working behind the super hit medical series ‘Grey Anatomy’ has criticized actress Katherine Heigl after she spoke against the work culture of the show publicly, describing it as "cruel and mean."It has emerged that the ‘Knocked Up’ star wanted to "embarrass" her bosses after being forced to work for 17 hours when the series came back after a break last month.
Steve McPherson, President of America`s ABC network, has condemned Katherine for going public with her opinions. He said everyone on the team was putting in extra hours. "I think it`s unfortunate. People are going to behave in the way they choose to behave. There are so many people who work so hard on `Grey`s,` and all of our shows, without any notoriety and those are the ones I`d be concerned about, people who feel like they`re being criticised or looked down upon," a news daily quoted him as telling the Hollywood Reporter.
