Amy Winehouse’s dad feels ‘aided by her spirit’ to save kids from drugs

London: Amy Winehouse’s dad Mitch has said that he feels his daughter’s spirit is still there by his side, aiding his fight to save other young addicts.
“Amy is here right now. Kids need our help,” the Sun quoted him as saying as he launched a foundation in her name. Mitch, 60, who is launching a foundation to help other young addicts, did not see recovering Amy’s death in July coming, for she had just enjoyed her happiest six months for years. He will tackle addiction problems at the highest level and believes the UK rehab system needs a radical overhaul. “I’ve just got to get on with it,” he said. “I am being compelled by Amy because there are kids out there who desperately need help. “We’ve wonderful memories and her spirit with us, but we’ve got to go on and help as many young people as possible,” he added.
