Collins` New York apartment for sale

London: Legendary actress Joan Collins has been forced to put her lavish New York apartment on sale because she can no longer afford to run four properties.

The "Dynasty" icon owns homes in the New York, Los Angeles, London and in France, reports a website. The 78-year-old star has now put her three-bedroom apartment at the Dorchester in Manhattan up for sale for 1.78 million pounds. "We always knew that there would probably come a time when either our LA home or this one would have to go and we have made the sad decision that it will be this place," she said. "Many people have said to us, `How on earth can you afford to keep four homes?` And the fact is, in this day and age, we can`t," she added. IANS
