Usher’s split with wife happened before second son’s birth

New York, June 17: American R&B singer Usher has revealed in his divorce petition that he and his wife Tameka Foster had split in July 2008, five months before their second son was born.The singer, real name Usher Raymond IV, claims that the split had taken place less than a year after the marriage, and before the birth of their son Naviyd Ely Raymond in December.

"The marriage between the parties is irretrievably broken,” the New York Daily News quoted the petition filed by Usher in Atlanta on June 12 as stating. “There is no reasonable hope of reconciliation,” it added. The split comes four months after Foster suffered cardiac arrest during a cosmetic surgery procedure in Brazil. ANI
