Mumbai: Bollywood star Kangna Ranaut, who is known for her intense performances and makeovers, will soon be sporting the 70s look in Milan Luthria’s ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbai.’ Talking to a news daily, Luthria, the director of the film said, "There is a lot of her in the character. She lends herself because she has a great body which does not look vulgar and her face is chameleon-like - she can change into different looks everyday!" In ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbai’, Kangna plays a bohemian Bollywood actress Rehana. The movie traces Rehana’s relationship with a gangster Sultan, played by Ajay Devgn. "As it was the time of flower power and when women were getting liberated and live-in relationships came out in the open, her styling reflects all these aspects," Luthria said. It is widely believed that Kangna did a lot of research for her role in ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbai’. Designers Rushi Sharma and Manoshi Nath added, "We not only looked at actresses of the `70s here but also the trends that were prevailing in the West at that time. But Kangna arrived at the office with a spiral bound book of her research for the movie. She had prepared a detailed account of the style, hairdos and accessories scene-by-scene which was also incorporated for her look." The movie releases on July 30, 2010.
