Channel Nine reporter denies fling with Robbie Williams

Melbourne: A Channel Nine reporter has been left red-faced after claims surfaced in a UK tabloid that she had a one-night stand with Brit singer Robbie Williams. According to the Daily Telegraph, Sarah Harris, who hails from Brisbane, has refuted the claims in a phone interview with Today Show hosts Georgie Gardner and Cameron Williams.

She said there was no truth to the rumours that she had a secret liaison with the British pop star while he was in Sydney as a guest performer at the 2009 ARIA Awards. Harris revealed they did have a cheeky moment on the red carpet before the awards ceremony but it was all a “bit of fun”. She said the news has sent her phone running red hot all morning and has left her family in a frenzy. “My mum was so excited, she was practically booking me on a plane to London,” a news daily quoted her as saying. “I may have asked him if he may need someone in the future but no, nothing’s going on, it’s not true. It was all a bit of fun. “I’m so glad I’m on the phone...I’m going all red right now,” she added. ANI
