Jim Carrey`s `Pierre Pierre` to be directed by Larry Charles

Los Angeles: Hollywood comedian Jim Carrey`s stalled comedy `Pierre Pierre` will be resurrected and directed by `Bruno` director Larry Charles.

`Dumb and Dumber` star`s movie was earlier to be directed by `Up in the Air` director Jason Reitman, but recent reports suggest that the film has now been handed over to Charles, two years after the project was announced. The movie is now being given a reboot by its new director Charles, Deadline.com reported. `Pierre Pierre` is about a peculiar Frenchman who transports a stolen painting from Paris to London. The producers have set their aim to complete the movie within a budget of USD 20 million. PTI
