New Delhi: A special screening of Bollywood film `Do Dooni Chaar` enthralled Union Human Resource Development Minister Kapil Sibal here over the weekend.
The minister said that he enjoyed the movie and Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh have done a good job.
"I have seen two-third of the movie, it`s a superb movie, very simple, very heart-warming and superb acting by Rishi. Both Rishi and Neetu have done good work and the theme is also good. It shows how a common man lives his life; it was nice to see the movie," said Sibal.
Produced by Arindham Chaudhari, the film portrays Rishi Kapoor as the main character.
Chaudhuri said that they wanted to make a film on the life of a middle class man and his family who fight daily battles to see that their needs are fulfilled despite limited income.
"We wanted to take to the world a film that is based on a teacher`s family and their struggles and it shows the journey of a middle-class family and I am very happy that it`s come out nice and everybody has loved it," said Chaudhuri.
The movie is about a teacher Mr. Duggal (Rishi Kapoor), who lives in a flat in New Delhi and juggles with double-digit inflation and single digit increments in his salary.
But his wife, son and teenaged daughter want to live on the fast track with luxurious add-ons.
The twist in the tale comes in the form of a wedding invitation that follows a journey of chaos, realisation, calculations, confrontations and bonding.
The movie was released on October 8.
