In an exclusive interview with Spicezee.com, Ranbir Kapoor replied in a way that left hardly any doubts about a cooling off of his two-year-old relationship with Deepika Padukone. The couple had been going around since their launch in Bollywood two years back, and their off-screen chemistry was worth watching. But the spark seems to have deserted them, and the split is open for the public to gape at. While he was talking about his upcoming film ‘Ajab Prem Ki Ghajab Kahani’ with co-star Katrina Kaif, he was asked about his split with Deepika. He replied, “Having spent this small time in Bollywood I have understood that media linkups crop up. I would rather speak about aomthing I am more excited about. I would rather speak about my film than my relationship. I would not keep contradicting statements by media.” Now, the absence of a denial is glaringly visible in his reply. When further asked about the most prominent ‘jodi’ in Bollywood currently, he quipped, “Katrina-Ranbir!” While Deepika was completely wiped out thus from the scene, Kat ruled even more regally. Ranbir added, “ Katrina is an ‘Ajab’ type of item – if I may say so. While shooting she would say something strange that would sink in only after a few days!” Has Deepika already become history and been replaced, too?
