Mumbai: Basking in the glory of his recent hit ‘Ishqiya’, Arshad Warsi is straying away from multi-starrers. The actor, who is known to be a permanent face of the ‘Golmaal’ franchise, has walked away from the third part of the film. And it’s because of his decision to do only solo projects. And it’s not only his hunger for limelight, but also for moolah that prompted him to walk out of the film. According to sources, Arshad feels that to be part of a multi-starrer, he should be paid well and had apparently asked for Rs 3 crores for the ‘Golmaal’ sequel. Confirming the news a source said, “Arshad, who was part of the first two installments was not happy with his character in the third. Apart from that, he was also unhappy with the difference in the fees offered to him and the other actors”. As things stand now, the only actors who have been confirmed are Ajay, Tusshar, Shreyas, Kunal Khemu (in stead of Sharman Joshi), Kareena and Mithun (instead of Paresh Rawal). "Arshad is now busy with his long delayed home production ‘Kaun Bola’. Besides that, he`s only entertaining scripts that have him as a parallel lead. He doesn`t want to play a sidekick or do a multi-hero projects," adds the source.
