Sydney: One of the many women linked to Tiger Woods has voiced her anger at a new range of golf balls with head shots of the golfer`s alleged mistresses.
Veronica Swik-Daniels has said the line, "Tail of the Tiger: the Mistress Collection", is offensive and promotes violence towards women.
"It is wrong for a golf ball to have my picture on it, because golfers hit their golf balls with a lot of force," the Sydney Morning Herald quoted her as saying.
She said: "As a victim of violence myself, it bothered me to think that someone would be standing with a dangerous club hitting a ball with my photo on it."
According to the New York Daily News and CBS, the hottie, who used pseudonym ‘Joslyn James’ during her adult film career, has recruited Gloria Allred to represent her.
Allred had also represented Rachel Uchitel, who has been linked to Woods.
She revealed that “cease and desist" letter had been sent to the product`s manufacturer, Creative Classics.
She described the golf balls as "dangerous and reprehensible."
Allred said: "Hitting a woman or an image of a woman is not a sport ... this would be no different than using a picture of a woman`s face for target practice.”
Meanwhile, Creative Classics spokesman Mike Caldwell announced that already 40,000 dollars worth of balls have been sold.
He said: "I woke up and I was thinking, `It`s coming up on the year of the tiger.’
"I thought, ``There`s millions of golfers out there stunned by what`s happening with Tiger and here`s a product that will get them all to laugh."``
