Walters in talks for TV biopic?

Barbara Walters is in negotiation to bring her life story on TV.

London: American broadcast journalist Barbara Walters is reportedly in negotiations to bring her life story to the small screen in a documentary. According to the New York Post, Walters is in talks with TV executives at HBO to adapt her best-selling memoir, Audition, into a TV documentary.
Her representative Cindi Berger confirmed that there is ‘a lot of interest’ to develop the biopic, but she refused to discuss which networks had made promising offers. Walters, who underwent heart surgery to replace a faulty valve in May 2010, returned to her hit ABC network show The View in July 2010, appearing via video link to assure fans she is ‘fully recovered’ from the procedure, reports The Daily Express. The 80-year-old veteran is expected to make a full return to the programme in September 2010. ANI
