Diwali dhamaka offers: Vodafone, BSNL, Airtel, Idea Cellular woo customers

Here is a list of offers that the companies are giving during Diwali.

New Delhi: As part of strategy to attract more users on their network, various telecom companies are offering bumper Diwalli offers to woo customers during the festive season.

Companies such as Vodafone, BSNL, Airtel and Idea Cellular have come up with several offers to entice customers.

Here is a list of offers that the companies are giving.

Vodafone

This Diwali Vodafone is giving away 100MB of FREE data! So, if you’re away from home, or working on Diwali day, you can still be part of the festivities back home. The company's offer can be availed on Diwali day. All you need to do is SMS DIWALI to 199 and receive 100MB of free data on 11th November 2015.

Apart from this, Vodafone has also recently launched 'One Rate, One South' pack targeting the prepaid customers in five south Indian states. The pack is available at Rs 57 that facilitates all outgoing mobile calls -- local, STD and while roaming at 1 paise per second anywhere in South India. Besides, there would be no roaming charges across the region.

BSNL

State-run BSNL has launched special tariff vouchers (STV) for its pre-paid mobile customers for the Diwali festival. The STV of Rs 35 provides 20 paise per minute calls to any network for all local and STD voice call with a validity of 2 days whereas STV of Rs 48 provides 80 minutes of calls to any network (local and STD) with a validity of 3 days.

Airtel

Airtel has launched the data cash back offer for pre-paid customers. Airtel customers will get daily morning credit of 50 percent of data, be it 2G ,3G or 4G, that they will consume between 12 am to 6 am. They just need to send an SMS to 121 or give a missed call to 55555 or log in to myAirtel app to opt in for the offer. Airtel has also extended 3G and 4G data sharing facility among family members for pre-paid customers which was earlier available for post-paid customers.

Apart from the data cashback and family data share, Airtel also launched the Smartphone Surprise offer. The offer is available for both existing and new customers and all pre-paid customers buying a smartphone from online portal Snapdeal will get additional onetime offer of Rs 750 off on the device.

Idea Cellular

Idea Cellular has launched Freedom Packs - low cost data packs with monthly validity, that provide the consumers the freedom from multiple recharges, while giving great value for money. Especially suited for customer segments such as students, housewives, and new users, who have a consistent but limited data usage, the Idea Freedom packs provide 28 day validity for just Rs. 100 for 300 MB on 2G data, and Rs. 175 for 500 MB on 3G data.

Apart from that the company has also launched for its Gujarat customers the Diwali Gold Coin Contest, a customer has to dial *123#/*222# and opt for products listed there and reply with the sequence number of the respective product. Per Request the customer will be charged Rs.3/Rs.8/Rs.10 on *123# Portal & Rs.3 on *222# Portal.
