Katy Perry’s ‘Firework’ earns her 10th MTV VMA nomination

Katy Perry has received one more nod after her ‘Firework’ promo was listed in the ‘Best Video With A Message’ category.

Washington: Katy Perry, who was nominated for nine MTV Video Music Awards last month, has received one more nod after her ‘Firework’ promo was listed in the ‘Best Video With A Message’ category.
Others nominations lined up in this category are Eminem and Rihanna’s ‘Love The Way You Lie’, Pink’s ‘F**king Perfect’, ‘Make it Stop’ by Rise Against, Taylor Swift’s ‘Mean’ and ‘Born This Way’ by Lady Gaga. Perry is also up for Best Pop Video, Best Collaboration, Best Direction and Video of the Year for ‘Firework’, Contactmusic reported. British sensation Adele has seven nods and was also nominated for Video of the Year with ‘Rolling in the Deep’. Next, Kanye West, who is up for prizes including Best Hip-Hop Video and Best Male Video, also has seven nominations. The award ceremony will take place in Los Angeles on 28 August 2011. ANI
