New Delhi: Actor Anjan Srivastava is set to enter SAB TV`s comedy show "Mrs. & Mr. Sharma Allahabad Wale".
He will be playing the role of Mr. Sharma`s father, who is a friend, philosopher and guide to his son. He completely adores his daughter in-law and showers her with constant praise and gifts.
"Mrs. & Mr. Sharma Allahabad Wale is a wonderful and well-liked show. I am glad to be a part of it," Srivastava said in a statement
Rajesh Kumar, who plays the role of Mr. Sharma in the show, says he is thrilled about working with the veteran actor.
"It’s an honour to work with such a great actor. I am a big fan of Anjan Srivastava. It has been an enriching experience working with him, especially for me and the entire team of the show," he said.
Divyanka Tripathi a.k.a. Mrs. Sharma added: "Anjan-ji’s character on the show is a loving and adoring father-in-law. We had a great time shooting with him on the set. He was a fatherly figure for everyone on the set and we all learned a lot from him."
