Pressure from pals, booze behind Simpson-Romo split?

Washington: The split between Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo may have taken place due to peer pressure from the Dallas Cowboys’ friends and the actress’ love for booze, it has emerged. "Jessica would get really drunk and obnoxious, it was out of control. She would be sprawled everywhere with her head on his lap and the look on Tony’s face said it all…He was so embarrassed in front of all the guys and his teammates were really harsh on him over it. Breaking up was a really hard decision for Tony to make," an insider told Pop Tarts.

According to Fox News, Romo wanted to stay on with Jessica and even "fought for her" with his pals, but had to break-up with her when things worsened. However Jessica’s friends came to her defence saying she was not an alcoholic and there were various other issues involved in the split. "She was devastated and it did come as a shock, however," the source added. ANI
