Mumbai, Jan 09: Aamir Khan’s mind-blowing marketing strategies for ‘3 Idiots’ have clearly shaken his peers into action. The other two Khans – Salman and SRK – are devising strange ways and means to create buzz about their films. Salman Khan, who is usually seen contributing in humanitarian projects just before the release of his films, is going out of his way this time. The actor will reportedly turn a jockey to promote his upcoming film – ‘Veer’.
The actor, who plays a Pindari warrior in the period flick, has bought two horses. And he will reportedly ride one of the horses at the Mahalakshmi racecourse in a `mock` race against top jockeys on January 17.
Dressed as a jockey, Salman will participate in the race, which is expected to pull a huge crowd. Sallu is a good rider and has been riding since childhood. ‘Veer’ is set to release on January 22.
Well, let’s see whether Sallu’s strategy turns out to be as good as Aamir’s!
