Mumbai, April 16: When Bollywood hunk Sanjay Dutt and Imran Khan came together for Sanjay Gadvi’s ‘Kidnap,’ a Bollywood conglomerate paid a whopping Rs 40 crore for the same.
According to a trade analyst, “Kidnap was Imran’s second outing after the super successful Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na and the industry had pinned great hopes on it.” However, ‘Kidnap’ was a huge flop and a Box Office dud.
Once again, both Sanjay and Imran will share the silver screen for Soham Sha’s ‘Luck’ and news has it that ‘Luck’ has been selected by the same firm for Rs 27 crore.
It seems that Imran Khan is the current favourite of this film conglomerate as the actor has given his approval for a romantic comedy which will be directed by Sanjay Gadvi.
According to Sandeep Bhargava - head of this film company said, “After a lot of discussion and evaluation we have been able to finalise the cast of the film. Imran and Katrina in a romantic comedy would make for a very interesting pair.” He added, “Katrina is one of the most successful female stars right now and she can be cast opposite the younger lot of heroes.”
The movie is tentatively titled as ‘7 Days in Paris’ and it will be exclusively shot in Ireland and France.
