London: Katie Price aka Jordan is said to have dumped cage-fighter Alex Reid in front of millions on I’m A Celebrity as part of a long-term plan to get Christmas custody of her kids. The glamour model has been accused of faking her live telly split from Reid so that she could see her kids over the festive period.
Just weeks after he was publicly humiliated when Jordan announced their split on television, Reid was spotted sneaking away from her home.
It has emerged that Jordan has been secretly meeting Reid, 34.
They were also spotted cuddling up at the X Factor finale, despite her claims they are only friends.
“While in the jungle Kate realised how unpopular she had become and that she needed to sort out her image,” the Daily Star quoted a source as saying.
“Dumping Alex live on the show was an easy way to distance herself from all the scandal and sleazy stories about him.
“But she hates being alone and since she’s been back they’ve been regularly meeting up behind closed doors,” the source added.
Meanwhile, Price and her ex-hubby Peter Andre have decided to call a Christmas truce for the sake of their children.
The feuding couple have managed to put their differences aside in order to come to an agreement over who gets the kids over the festive period.
A source said: “The legal fight is over and Pete and Kate have called a truce for the sake of the children. They both want them to have the best Christmas ever.”
