Kochi: Lenovo, the world's No 3 personal computer company, on Friday introduced a range of high performance Consumer PCs based on 2nd generation Intel Core Processors in Kerala for the 'Onam' festival.
The new product line up includes Netbooks, Notebooks, All-in-ones, Desktops and Monitors, Ashok Nair, Director Sales (South) Lenovo India, told reporters here.
Kerala offers a huge growth potential for Lenovo and contributes significantly to the company's overall business, he said adding the company proposes to double its retail footprint in a year's time.
Purchase trends in Kerala point to steady consumer shift from traditional desktops towards laptops and new form factors like All-in-Ones. Besides, consumers are increasingly opting for fully loaded, premium laptops in the place of entry level laptops.
Lenovo, currently has close to 30 exclusive retail outlets in kerala and is planning to expand further its retail presence in the coming months, he said. Presently, it has 14 service centrs spread across the state.
