Katy Perry and Russell Brand changed Xmas plans after ‘massive fight’

London: Russell Brand and his wife Katy Perry reportedly shelved their plans, at the last moment, for a big family Christmas following a “massive fight”.
The comedian’s mother Barbara had excitedly revealed on social networking site Twitter on November 30 that she was looking forward to them all being together over the festive break. “Spoke to Russell and Katy, they are so happy, it’s lovely. We will all be together for Christmas,” the Mirror quoted her as having tweeted. It is believed that Brand had also arranged for his in-laws, Keith and Mary Hudson, to fly to the UK on December 18. However, shortly before they were due to arrive, the plans were scrapped amid reports in the US that Russell and Katy had had a huge tiff. Instead the 36-year-old spent Christmas in a remote Cornish village. Meanwhile his 27-year-old pop star wife sunned herself in Hawaii, 7,000 miles away, and was pictured without her wedding ring. It’s believed that neither had any work commitments that would have forced them to spend time apart. “They had a massive fight. She was like, ‘F*** you. I’m going to do my own thing.’ Russell replied, ‘Fine, f*** you, too,’” Us Weekly quoted a source as saying. “They haven’t split up just yet, but things are not good. The fighting is getting worse,” the source added. US news outlet E! News also reported that the couple have been having “problems” and that they have been spending “a lot of time apart”. They claimed that “things began getting tense between the couple in early December” and that Katy has been “a mess” about it at times. Russell was apparently staying with his friend and fellow comedian David Baddiel at a holiday home in Coverack, near Helston, Cornwall. ANI
