Microsoft to bring out Dialer Android App exclusively for India

You may soon get a new voice calling app Android from Microsoft that the company has developed with the Skype team

New Delhi: Microsoft is soon to launch a new voice calling Android app called Dialer, which is currently in testing stage.

According to industry reports, the company has developed the app along the with Skype team, and is expected to come into the market in the second week of December. After testing the app in India, Dialer would also be launched in other markets.

Analysts say that Dialer may help Microsoft to capture the markets that are bogged down by connectivity issues like slow and unreliable Internet access.

It is unclear yet whether Dialer will also support video calling. The app works on 3G as well as 2G networks.
