Washington: Microsoft's Windows team is reportedly planning to reveal its Windows Threshold plans at its Build conference in San Francisco in April 2014.

Microsoft intends to disclose details regarding its Threshold plans at a vision level this year.

According to Cnet, Microsoft will name Threshold "Windows 9" and apart from its attempt to unify the Windows and Windows phone, it will feature the 2.0 version of Microsoft's "Metro" user interface/design language.

Windows Threshold plans to share common elements through inclusion of provision of updates to all the three Windows OS platforms (Xbox One, Windows, and Windows Phone), making it more advanced.
