Andre was admitted to Musgrove Park Hospital in Taunton, Somerset, Friday and was released Saturday after making a speedy recovery post surgery. A statement on his website said: "Peter had to have an emergency operation yesterday (Friday) afternoon which was a success. Pete was released from hospital earlier today (Saturday) and is recovering. Peter would like to thank everyone for their support and their messages." His management company confirmed he was admitted after ex-wife Jordan revealed it first on Twitter, reports thesun.co.uk. It is not yet known what the diagnosis was. His brother Mike said: "We`ve had a difficult night and unfortunately can`t comment on what`s wrong with him but Pete`s a fighter." Andre`s Friday performance in Plymouth was postponed as well as his performance in Minehead Saturday. Peter was recently diagnosed with gallstones and this month revealed he had a "mystery illness".
