India’s biggest fashion shopping sale, the 4th Edition of Myntra’s ‘End of Reason sale’, clocked over 2 million item orders placed by end of Day 1 of the two-day weekend sale.
New Delhi: India’s biggest fashion shopping sale, the 4th Edition of Myntra’s ‘End of Reason sale’, clocked over 2 million item orders placed by end of Day 1 of the two-day weekend sale. In the run up to the opening of the sale at 12 am on Saturday, around INR 700 crore worth of products were added to the EORS wish list (A special feature offered for EORS-4). The wish list was offered for the first time for shortlisting of items to go on sale. Also, the Myntra App was # 1 on iOS in India across all categories.
Myntra and EORS were among the top searched items on Google and Twitter, with search trends higher than Amazon, during the same period.
According to Ananth Narayanan, CEO, Myntra, “The fourth edition of EORS has received phenomenal response so far. On the first day of the sale, we have seen installation of half a million Apps and 25 million visits to our platform with 2 million product orders by the end of the day. We also exceeded the 20x daily sales target ”
“As always, the branded sports category has been doing exceptionally well and has clocked almost 3x of all sales across India of top sports brands per day! Basis the current traction, we have also exceeded all of offline sales put together for the top men and women wear brands aswell yesterday” he added.
The 4th edition of EORS is being held on the 2nd and 3rd of July. It brings an unprecedented opportunity for shoppers across the country to buy the latest designs and styles from the world's leading brands. EORS has emerged as the most sought after event in fashion industry in the country and is one of the most important properties of Myntra.
