London: Supermodel Kate Moss has started synchronised swimming in a bid to tone up after being inspired by her modelling pal Naomi Campbell`s enviably sculpted figure.
Kate and her family had been joined by her old catwalk friend, Naomi and his Russian boyfriend Vladislav Doronin in Thailand. Both were pictured taking a deep in the sea but it appears Naomi is managing to maintain a perter figure than Kate, Daily Mail online reported.
Their varying forms were brought into stark contrast as the pair took to the beach in skimpy bikinis.
At 39, Naomi still boasts an enviably flat stomach and toned derriere but 35-year-old Kate is starting to show signs of going on the slide showing off her saggy posterior.
But now the British beauty is determined to do something about it as has taken up a new hobby which should help her get into shape - synchronised swimming. She has roped Naomi into the water ballet sport too.
Earlier this week they put on an swim show for friends back at Kate`s Phuket hotel with some other model friends.
"Underwater music was piped through her hotel pool, allowing her to practise her moves to refine the art of water ballet," a hotel source said.
"Kate has perfected all the basic sculling moves and twirls, plus the eggbeater - basically treading water - but has really struggled with the crane which requires a great deal of core strength," the source added.
