Parker preserves bags for daughters

Los Angeles: Actress Sarah Jessica Parker is taking extra care of her Fendi Baguettes for her two-year-old twin daughters, Tabitha and Marion. The actress has two original iconic bags and is keeping them in pristine condition so that she can hand them down to her girls when they`re older.
"I recently archived both (my original) Baguettes to keep them in pristine condition. Now that I have two daughters, they can each have one," a website has quoted Parker as saying. The actress has three children, the twins and nine-year-old son, James Wilkie, with husband Matthew Broderick. Parker says she will always have a soft spot for the Baguette as it was the first important item to be loaned to her, when she played Carrie Bradshaw in ‘Sex and the City’. "Having the Fendi Baguette was a very big deal, and the gateway to everything else. It really opened the floodgates and influenced the storyline - especially Carrie`s habit of spending more money on fashion than her home. The Baguette became a staple of Carrie`s wardrobe and character," she said. IANS
