Rihanna’s admission of starving herself before mag photoshoot causes controversy

London: Rihanna has caused a hullabaloo after tweeting about having starved herself before a photoshoot for Esquire magazine.

The 23-year-old Barbadian singer admitted to having restricted food intake before being captured through the lens for the men’s publication. “RihannaNavy I shot my first cover for Esquire yesterday with Russell James rockstars*** Not much preparation for that besides wax+starve!!” the Daily Mail quoted her as tweeting. Whatever the reasons for the confession may be, her fans swiftly came forward to criticise the singer for her confession. “rihanna starve?? why?? thats a bad message to your fans ri-ri im disappointed,” one fan tweeted. “rihanna how long did you starve??? That rockstars*** doesn’t seem fun!!” another fan was quoted as tweeting. Rihanna, instead of giving a justification for her statement, ignored all the comments from her fans, sounding excited about the shoot for British vogue instead. “British Vogue here I come....ontothenextone,” she tweeted.
