London: ‘Transformers’ star Megan Fox’s new movie ‘Passion Play’ has gone straight to DVD despite her sauntering around in a low-cut dress dripping in diamonds and fur.
Fox, 24, is even featured at one point slipping into a thigh-skimming negligee, but it seems all her efforts have been wasted, as the film went straight to DVD after premiering at the Toronto Film Festival in September. Numerous viewers walked out of the screening in Canada last year and critics branded it “awful”, a “mess” and “an absolute car wreck”, the Daily Mail reported. ‘Passion Play’ is about an angel who is under the thumb of a ruthless gangster and is saved by a trumpet player down on his luck. Actor Mickey Rourke plays washed-up jazz musician Nate Pool who does not want to betray sinister gangster Happy Shannon, played by actor Bill Murray. Fox plays Lily, a beautiful and mysterious carnival sideshow attraction, known as the Bird Woman. Actors Kelly Lynch and Rhys Ifans also star in the ill-fated film. ANI
