Victoria Beckham spent almost USD 1.5 million on just one shopping trip during the festive season.

Los Angeles: Former Spice girl Victoria Beckham spent almost $1.5 million on just one shopping trip during the festive season. She admits that shopping is like drug addiction. Beckham, 35, flew into Milan, Italy - the fashion capital of the world - over the festive season and headed straight for her favourite designer stores in the city`s most expensive shopping street called Via Montenapoleone, reports express.co.uk.

Milan is home to exclusive couture houses Dolce & Gabbana and Giorgio Armani. "I did spend too much," the star, who is now back here confessed. "Shopping is like a drug. The more you have, the more you want. I would move in to the Via Montenapoleone if I could because when I am in Milan I don`t know how to walk past it. It`s as if all of those wonderful shops are calling out to me." Victoria picked up dozens of handbags, handmade shoes and hand-stitched evening and cocktail dresses. She also walked away with 12 pairs of over-sized sunglasses, designer luggage and two bespoke suits for 34-year-old football star husband David Beckham. IANS
