The film is about two friends, who are also San Francisco cops, whose fathers were once partners on the police force. The older generation is forced out of retirement to help their sons crack a case, with typically antagonistic results. The movie is meant to have an updated `Lethal Weapon` flavor that plays into edgier R-rated territory, the Hollywood Reporter said. Neal Moritz, Andrew Panay and Reynolds` Dark Trick Films partner Jonathon Komack Martin are producing along with J C Spink and Chris Bender of Benderspink . Reynolds, who is married to Scarlett Johansson, recently starred in `Paper Man`, `The Proposal` and `X-Men Origins: Wolverine`. He will next be seen thriller `Buried`, slated to release next month. Cooper last starred in `The A-Team`, `Valentine`s Day` and the superhit `The Hangover`. His next projects are thriller `The Dark Fields` and `The Hangover`s sequel, set for a May release. Turner will make his directorial debut with `By Virtue Fall`. PTI
