Trawick meets Britney`s ex to seek permission for marriage

London: Pop princess Britney Spears` current beau Jason Trawick has reportedly met her ex husband Kevin Federline to ask for his permission to marry her. The `Toxic` singer has been dating Trawick, who is also her manager, for several months now and has been keen on settling down with him for quite sometime now.

Trawick seems to be finally contemplating marriage and set up a meeting with Federline, with whom Spears has two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, reported a news website. "Jason not only professed his love for Britney, he told Kevin he absolutely adores his two sons. Jason acknowledged that Kevin will always be the boys` real dad, but respectfully asked his blessing as a future co-parent. Jason has been spending lots of time with the boys to try and bond with them," a source said. The meeting between the pair is said to have gone well with the pair embracing in a hug at the end of the meeting. "Kevin couldn`t be happier, he trusts Jason. The guys agreed to be in close touch - and Britney`s thrilled knowing she`s now one step closer to her goal of marrying Jason and living happily ever after," the source added. PTI
