Damon targeted by impostor!

London: Hollywood actor Matt Damon has revealed he was targeted by an impostor over the Christmas holidays last year. Damon was rumoured to have spent New Year on a cruise in Australia with his family, after a man claiming to be Damon fooled fans in Sydney signing autographs and enjoying VIP service, reports imdb.com.

The actor is adamant he wasn`t in Australia over the holidays and puts the sightings of him down to a lookalike who has been impersonating Down Under. "That was somebody pretending to be me. It happens. My wife used to work in a bar (in Miami, Florida) and the bartender called us once, saying, `There`s a guy in here who looks like you and says he is you.` There was some guy sitting in the VIP section getting free champagne," he said.
