London, April 08: Oprah Winfrey has dismissed allegations that she isolated a group of students dismissed from her South African girls school for sexual misconduct.Seven students at the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls were asked to leave after being accused of sexually harassing fellow schoolmates, reports the Daily Express.
According to South African newspaper The Star, four of the accused claim they were not allowed to go to classes, communicate with other girls and were monitored by security guards stationed outside their hostels as a two-week investigation was conducted. A rep for Winfrey, Lisa Halliday, has confirmed that the students had violated the school`s code of conduct and were expelled from the elite school last month.
