Mumbai: Our very own producer-director Karan Johar loves shooting abroad, especially in London. KJo, now has an added reason to marvel England. If news doing rounds is to be believed then Karan might join Queen Elizabeth II in her diamond jubilee celebrations scheduled to be held next year that will mark the successful completion of 60 years of her sovereignty on the British throne. The good news does not end here. KJo has also been chosen as the goodwill ambassador of 2012 Olympics that commences in July next year in the English capital. Narrating how Karan reacted, a source while talking to a tabloid revealed, "KJo was pleasantly surprised when they asked him to be the goodwill ambassador of the London Olympics. It`s a twin honour for him as he will also be part of the 60th year celebrations of queen`s ascension to the throne." The source also said that Karan, who has been a huge lover of London, has promoted the city in most of his films. Which is why, he has been chosen to represent India at both the events. "Any one who has had an impact on the city of London has been invited to be the goodwill ambassadors. They have honoured Karan`s connection with England through the strong medium of Indian cinema. They feel his cinema bridges B-Town with the people of England." A formal announcement on his ambassadorship for the Olympic Games will made today in Bangalore.
