Amber Rose copies Grace Jones in controversial pose

London: Rapper Kanye West is proud of girlfriend Amber Rose and decided to show her off by posting a near-naked image of hers on his new blog.In the risque shot, an out-take from Rose`s Complex magazine shoot last year, the model recreates controversial singer Grace Jones`s iconic 1978 pose of her holding a microphone while naked.

The original Jones photo was published in New York magazine in 1978 and the singer loved the image so much she used it as the front cover of her 1985 album `Island Life`. Last year, Rose, 27, recreated a series of Jones album covers for American magazine Complex. The microphone pose never made the publication, but West clearly decided it was worth being published and put it on his blog. The pair started dating after originally meeting in 2008 when West was engaged to designer Alexis Phifer. The Philadelphia-born beauty has an exotic lineage, with her mother hailing from the West African island of Cape Verde and an Italian father. In the interview with Complex magazine last year, Rose spoke of her bisexuality and stripper past, insisting West doesn`t mind her colourful past. PTI
