London: Sir Richard Branson has lost the draft of his second autobiography in the fire, which recently broke out in his house on Necker during a house party.
The manuscript, which had almost been completed, turned into ashes when his home on the private Caribbean island caught flames after being struck by lightning. “The biggest disappointment is that Richard was well through his new book. It was sitting on top of about 10 years of notebooks, about 40 of them in total,” the Daily Express quoted a spokeswoman for the Virgin billionaire as saying. “He’s now just hoping his memory is still intact as he’s going to need it – and he plans to buy a fire-proof vault,” she added.
