London: Teen star Miley Cyrus says it was the first on screen kiss with her now boyfriend Liam Hemsworth which "triggered" something between them. The 17-year-old singer-actress, who has been dating the Australian actor after meeting him on the set of ``The Last Song``, said that the embrace they shared for the cameras "triggered" something between them and convinced her they should be together in real life, Daily Mirror online reported.
"That kiss definitely triggered something. It triggered something in my head that made me realise this was going to be a lot of fun and it made me realise that one day you can feel bad and the next you can meet someone who is your soulmate or your best friend or whatever and that`s really cool," she added.
Miley admits she doesn`t have very much in common with 20-year-old Liam, but insists that doesn`t matter when you are in love. "Love makes you feel beautiful and it makes you feel good about yourself.
It`s having someone complete you and hoping you learn more about yourself - someone who continues to inspire you and helps you be a better person. That`s what Liam does for me," Miley said.
The actress is leaving `Hannah Montana`, the Disney TV show which made her a star, at the end of the current series but, rather than be nervous, she is excited about not having the series to "lean on". "It`s kind of bittersweet for me.
It`s like my security blanket, my comfort zone. It`s the easiest thing that I do and I`ve always had the show to lean on, and to not have it to lean on in the future will be different for me," she said.
