No hard feelings between dad and me: Beyonce

London: R&B singer Beyonce insists that there are no hard feelings between her and father Mathew Knowles after she dropped him from the post of manager.

The 29-year-old`s father helmed her career since she first began with the band `Destiny`s Child` in the late 1990s but the two parted ways earlier this year. But the `Single Ladies` hitmaker says that her father is still her support system, reported Contactmusic. "It`s not that anything bad happened between us. My family always has my support and they support me, but when you`ve been working with the same people for 15 years, it`s natural to eventually have your own ideas," Beyonce said. "I believe that parents prepare their kids for that moment when they`re on their own. At this point, I`m taking everything my dad and my mother have taught me, and I`m able to do things my way. We were at a point where we`d learned so much from each other, and now it`s exciting for me to do this on my own and hire my own team," she added. PTI
