Mumbai: Aishwarya Rai and hubby Abhishek Bachchan’s flick ‘Raavan’ is making news for strange reasons. The film, that is said to have a controversial theme, is said to be the most hydro-centric film in the history of Indian cinema. Around 80 percent of the film has been shot in, under, around and below rain and water in the forest. Water sure seems to be Mani Ratnam’s favourite element. Confirming the news a source says, “We were drenched to our skin constantly. Abhishek and Aishwarya were talking, dancing, singing, reciting poetry in the water.” What’s more is that Abhishek’s character even proposes to Aishwarya in the water. Furthermore, sources suggest that at one point in the plot Abhishek proposes Aishwarya circling in the water instead of around the holy fire while she stands at the river bank. “It was almost like the two were getting married by taking their vows through the holy water rather than the fire,” adds the source. What’s more is that the couple has worked so extensively in water for ‘Raavan’ that they don’t wish to do even a rain song. We can’t blame them!
