Israeli start-up Sirin Labs officially unveiled its high-end $14,000 (over Rs 9 lakh) Android smartphone named Solarin on June 1.

The phone has been loaded with a large number of wonderful features which aptly justify the huge cost.

Here are 7 interesting aspects of phone that you must know:

1)Dubbed as the `Rolls Royce of smartphones`, Solarin is activated via a physical security switch set on the back.

2)The smartphone promises chip-to-chip 256-bit encryption similar to what the military uses to protect communications.

3)On being turned on, the phone, that utilises threat prevention software from Zimperium, makes secure end-to-end encrypted calls and messages.

4)Solarin promises "the most advanced privacy technology, currently unavailable outside the agency world.” Sirin Labs has joined hands with communication security firm KoolSpan.

5)Solarin packs in Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, promises "far superior" Wi-Fi connectivity, has a 23.8MP rear camera and a 5.5 inch IPS LED 2K resolution screen.

6)At 159.8mm in length, with a 5.5-inch diagonal screen, the device is incredibly similar to the larger iPhone 6S Plus.

7)The handset is 11.1mm thick which is comparatively larger than most other devices.
