Malaria-stricken Cheryl Cole ‘bans Ashley from visiting her’

London: Girls Aloud beauty Cheryl Cole has apparently rejected attempts by her estranged husband Ashley to visit her.

Ashley wanted to see Cheryl, who is suffering from malaria, after he returned to the UK from America. “The simple fact is Cheryl doesn’t want to see Ashley. Given everything she’s been through it just wouldn’t be a good idea. Obviously it’s hard for her and there’s a part of her would like to see him. They were married for years after all and she was madly in love,” News Of The World quoted a source as saying. “But everyone around her, especially her mum and close friends, think seeing him would end up being a bad thing. She’s still incredibly fragile and doesn’t need that sort of potentially traumatic experience,” the source added. ANI
