A good news for all the readers, finally Amazon launches its Kindle Cloud reader in India, three years after it was launched in a few cities. On Thursday, Amazon announced the launch of its Kindle Cloud reader for the Indian market.

Kindle Cloud reader is a free app that allows the user to read Kindle books from web browser on their device. It is available on all common desktop browsers like the Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Internet Explorer (version 10 and above). It is also available on Safari for iPad.

The Cloud reader synchronises all its Kindle app features to the PC- including the last read page of a book, allowing the user to start reading form the last page he/she left, saving your bookmarks, notes and highlights, customize the page layout including the background colour and font size. In addition the user is also now empowered to search inside the book for a particular character, topic or section.

It allows the user to read books both online and offline with no download no installation required. Users can also download books from the library and pins the ones that they want to read offline.

The Kindle Cloud Reader is updated automatically, so that the user does not need to download new software.
