New Delhi: Apple has officially rejected the rumours of its latest offering of the iPhone 5 to India on October 26.
Reportedly, when an Indian news portal contacted Apple if the launch date was accurate, Apple replied through an email, which says, “We have no announcement to make at the moment on a launch or price of the iPhone 5 in India. There is speculation in media and we don’t comment on speculation”.
Earlier, after the BGR India report, the internet was abound with news that Apple is set to introduce the new smartphone in the country on the last Friday of the month.
iPhone 5 is the thinnest and lightest iPhone till now and features a new four-inch retina display and an Apple-designed A6 chip.
